Early mornings are the best time to practice yoga.  Your mind and surroundings are calm.

So start the day with this dynamic style of yoga. Wake up your body and alert your mind, while finding stillness and ease in the morning and take it with you into the rest of the day.

Ashtanga Yoga is a powerful system of practice designed to purify the body, nervous system and mind. One of the main distinguishing features of Ashtanga yoga is that it links a set series of postures together in a flowing sequence that is synchronised with the breath.

Leah Kazuko Casey is a devotee of yoga and healing.  She teaches a dynamic flowing style of yoga - a synthesis of Iyengar, Astanga and Krishnamacarya which she has developed over her 13 years of study. Leah has followed the Astanga Yoga for a long time, but found it too limiting and wantied more freedom. She has developed her own style based on the Astanga Style of Yoga.

Leah's yoga and bodywork evolved from her russian ballet training and study of Iyengar, Japanese ki and astanga styles.  She has studied with Sat Guru Hanuman Das (Dharmikan Ashram, South India), Mark Whitwell (Heart of Yoga, USA), Greg Cooper & Eoin McCarthy (Astanga Yoga Centre of Melbourne, Victoria), Simon Borg-Olivier (Yoga Synergy, NSW), Nicky Knoff (Knoff School of Yoga, Queensland) and Swarmi Shantananda (Australian College of Classical Yoga, Victoria)

She looks forward to seeing you on a mat!
